Adding image in a product description

Images are an important part of your product description. Descriptive images not only help in enhancing the product appearance on the store, but it also engages the customers. StoreHippo allows you to add one/multiple images in a product description. For example: If your product is a T-shirt then you can add images about the type of fabric, color, or any other quality of the product about which you want your customers to know.

Add image in the product description

To add the image(s) in the product description, follow the steps given below:

• Go to the Products > Products section in the StoreHippo Admin Panel.

• Proceed to add or edit a product.
• Click on the insert image icon in the product description.

• Select the image that you want to add by clicking on the source icon and you can also define the dimension of the image.

• Click the Save button to add the image to the description.

• Click the Save button on the top right-hand side to save the changes on the product.
• Now, the image will be displayed in the product description section.

Making image responsive

If the image you have added in the product description is not responsive, then you can make it so by following the steps mentioned below:

• Select the image in the product description section.
• Click the insert image icon in the product description.

• Enter the "100%" value in the image width and image height field.
• Click the Save button.
• Apply the changes that you have made.
• Now, the image becomes responsive to the desktop, as well as the mobile view.
