Custom Reports

Available in Platinum Plan and above.

StoreHippo allows you to generate custom reports in your store. This gives you a glance of the statistics of your store as per your requirements. In the custom reports section, you can filter, sort, group the entity reports based on the fields, and lookup fields within the selected time period. 

Go to the Custom Reports section in the StoreHippo Admin Panel to access the custom reports.Here, you can view, access, download, email, and add the custom reports.

Creating custom report

To create the custom report, follow the steps mentioned below:

  • Go to the Custom Reports section in the StoreHippo Admin Panel.
  • Click the Add New button to create a new custom report.
  • The form opens up with multiple fields.
  • Provide the details for the custom report.
  • Click the Save button.

Now, the custom report based on the selected filters and fields will be created. 


Provide the name of the custom report.


In this field, enter the email address to which you want to send the report.


From the entity dropdown, select the entity for which you want to generate the report.


In this section, you can add the filters. The report will be generated on the basis of selected filters. You can add the filters by follow the below steps:

  • Click the Add Filters button and multiple fields will appear. 
  • Provide the Field and Value in the respective fields.
  • Select the operator from the Operator dropdown. You can select Greater than or Equals, Less than or Equals, Greater than, Less than, or Equals from the option. 
  • Click the Insert Filters button to select the filter.

In the same way, you can add more filters.


Select the fields which you want to show in the reports. 

Group By

In this field, you can specify how to group the custom reports.

Field Details

In this section, you can specify the field(s) whose name you want to update in the report. For example, you want to "Slug" instead of the "alias" in the downloaded report. You can do so by following the below steps: 

  • Click the Add Field details button. 
  • In the Name field, enter the new name of the field that you want to show in the report.
  • In the Value field, provide the original field name. 
  • Click the Insert Field details button.

Similarly, you can add more fields.

Records Handler

Here, you can add the code for the record handler.


In the Limit field, provide the limit value.


You can sort the report either in ascending or descending order of the selected field.

  • Click the Add SortBy option to add the sorting field. 
  • In the Field, enter the field in which you want to apply the sorting
  • From the Order field, select the sorting option.
  •  Click the Insert SortBy option.

Now, the report will be sorted either in ascending or descending order of the specified field.


In this section, you can specify the lookup fields. To specify the lookup fields, you need to enter the LocalField, Entity, and ForeignField.


From the Period dropdown, select the time range for which you want to generate the report. You can select the Last 24 hours, Last 7 days, Last month, or Last year option from the dropdown.

Downloading the custom report

Once the custom report is generated, you can either download the custom report in CSV format or send it via email. 

  • Go to the Custom Reports section in the StoreHippo Admin Panel.
  • Choose the report which you want to download.
  • Click the ellipsis icon in front of the report name. Multiple options will be shown. 
  • To download the CSV file, click the Download in CSV option. For sending the report to the mentioned email ID, select sendInEmail option.

The report will be downloaded or sent to the specified email address.
