How to add payment methods based on the delivery method?

StoreHippo allows you to add the payment method based on the fulfillment method. You can either add the shipping methods for delivery of the order at the shipping address or provide the store pickup option. Click here to know more about enabling the pickup from the store functionality. Along with that, you can provide different payment methods for the delivery option.  

Scenario

Suppose you have two payment methods, which are Online Payments and COD. You want to offer the COD payment method only when the customer chooses to pick up the order from the store. You can do so, by following the steps mentioned below:

Steps

To set the payment method based on the city, follow the steps mentioned below:

• Go to the Settings > Payment methods section in the StoreHippo Admin Panel.
• Click the Add New button to add a new payment method.
• A form will open up with multiple fields.
• Enter the payment method name in the Name field.
• Choose the type of payment method from the Type drop-down. Here, we are selecting the Cash On Delivery option.
• In the Caption field, enter the caption description. This caption will be displayed on the checkout page.
• Click the Add Condition button.
• Now, proceed to provide the conditions. Choose "Pick from Store" option in Field and enter "1" Value field. Here, 1 means enable and 0 means disable.
• After providing the condition, click the Insert Condition button. 
• Select the Enable checkbox to set the payment gateway on your website. 
• You can provide the Sort Order if needed. 
• Click the Save button to apply the changes.

Now, when the customer chooses the Pickup at Stores option for the order fulfillment, the COD payment method will be available.
