How to set different shipping costs on different order weights?

Scenario

You want to charge different shipping cost based on different order weights, i.e. Rs 20 for orders up to 500 gms and Rs 50 for orders above 500 gms.

Steps

You can set shipping charges on the orders placed in your store for various conditions such as order total, order weights, different countries and products, etc. Follow the below-mentioned steps to set the shipping charges on different order weights in your store:

1. Go to Settings > Shipping Methods section of StoreHippo Admin Panel.
2. Click on Add New button.
   
3. Provide the Name as "Order weight charges1".
4. Select the Type as "Manual" and mention the Price as "20".
   
5. Select Countries as "All Countries".
6. Click on Add Condition in the Apply when field.
   
7. In the Field drop-down, choose "Order Weight". Select the Operator as "less than" and provide the Value as "500".
   
8. Click on Insert Condition to add the condition.
9. Select the Enable check box to enable the shipping cost.
   
10. Click on the Save button to save the shipping cost. 
11. Similarly, follow the same steps to add new shipping charges for orders above 500 gms as shown in the screenshot below.
    
12. The respective shipping charges are available on the orders. For example, if you order a product of 200 grams weight, then the shipping charges will be Rs 20.
