A loyalty program is a rewards program offered by a company to customers who frequently make purchases. A loyalty program may give a customer advanced access to new products, special sales coupons or free merchandise. The wallet has to be enabled on both store and themes.
Loyalty is one of the wallets which is used to provide rewards on customer/user registration and on the purchase of specific products.
Loyalty wallet can be enabled in the store by installing Loyalty app in the store. While installing the app, you can specify what kind of rewards you want to provide to your customers.
Loyalty app supports two kinds of rewards:
You can specify the loyalty points in the Loyalty field in the products section. The loyalty points mentioned in the product will be displayed on the product page as shown below.
To enable wallet in your store, you are required to install the Loyalty app from the StoreHippo Appstore.
Go to Advance Settings > Apps section in the StoreHippo Admin Panel. Search for Loyalty app. Install the app and provide value to the basic settings of the app explained below:
Enter the points in this field that you want to give to your users when they register into your store.
Enter the minimum number of points in this field that you want to give to your users when they purchase any product.
Enter the maximum number of points in this field that you want to give to your users when they purchase any product.
Select the check box if you want to give the loyalty points to your users when they purchase any specific product.
If you select your loyalty points to be product specific, a metafield is added to the Products section where you can specify the loyalty points. When your customers purchase the product, the loyalty points that you mention here are credited to their account.
