Managing Users Wishlist

For every customer account, there will be a wishlist section associated with that account. This section contains the list of all products which are added to the customer wishlist. 

How Customer Can Manage The Wishlist

The customers can add the products in a wishlist. This helps the customer to maintain the list of the items or products which the customer wishes to buy.

Adding The Product In Wishlist

Customer can add product in the wishlist by following the steps given below:

  • Go to the product page.
  • Click on the product which you want to add in the wishlist.
  • Now, you will be on the product description page.

  • Next, click on the heart icon as shown in the image above.
  • Now, that product will be added to the wishlist.

Removing The Product Added In The Wishlist

To remove the product added in the wishlist, follow the steps given below:

  • Go to Account - > Wishlist.
  • Now, you will be on the wishlist page.

  • Click on the bin icon in front of the product name to be removed from the wishlist.
  • Now, the product will be deleted from the wishlist.

How Admin Can Manage The Customer's Wishlist

In this section, you can manage (view, add, delete, export) the product in the customer's wishlist or remove it. This feature facilitates the admin to view the product(s) added to the wishlist. 

Viewing The Customer Wishlist

To view the  wishlist of the user, follow the steps given below:

  • Click on the Users option in the sidebar.
  • Now, you will be on the Users page.
  • Enter the first name, last name, email, phone, or the role of the user to search.

  • Click on the user whose wishlist you need to manage.
  • The user details will be opened up in the right panel with the user name on the top.
  • There will be 7 tabs:
    1. GENERAL
    2. ACCOUNT
    3. ADDRESSES
    4. ORDERS
    5. WISHLIST
    6. NOTES
    7. HISTORY
  • By default, the GENERAL tab will be opened.

  • Click on the arrow at the right side to scroll horizontally as shown in the image below.

  • Click on the Wishlist option.
  • Now, all the product(s) added in the wishlist will be displayed as shown in the image below.

Adding Product In The Wishlist

To add a product in the wishlist, follow the steps given below:

  • Click on the Add button as shown in the image below.

  • Now, you will be on the User Wishlist / Add page.
  • There will be 2 fields - User ID and Product ID.
  • The field User ID will be auto-filled. Enter the product ID in the Product ID field. As shown in the image given below.

  • After entering the product ID, click on the Save button and that product will be added in the selected user’s wishlist.

Exporting the List Of Products Added By All Users

To export the list of the products added in the wishlist, follow the steps given below:

  • Click on the Product ID.
  • Now, you will be on the users wishlist page.
  • Click on the burger icon present beside the Add New button as shown in the image below.

  • Three options will be shown to you. To Export the list, click on the export button, and pop will open up.

  • Enter the required details in the respective fields and click on the Send Email button given at the bottom right corner of the dialog box. A file will be sent to the entered email address.
