Available in Enterprise Plan and above.

StoreHippo allows you to make customizations very easy so that you can implement the most of it yourself as required. You can provide permissions to the existing roles in this section.

Permissions in custom entities

Custom entities are records available in Advance Settings > Entities section in StoreHippo Admin Panel. You can define permissions and commands for the custom entities while adding/editing them.
These custom entities have commands both global commands (add, edit, export, etc. ) and entity-specific commands (placeOrder on orders, addItem on carts, etc). To add permissions for an entity, go to the Entity Command tab and define the commands and roles here.

You can add and edit permission to entity commands directly from the Permissions section. Here the permissions can be given to both global as well as local entities. This is applicable for granular roles only.

To do so, follow the below-mentioned steps:

  1. Go to Advance Settings > Permissions section in StoreHippo Admin Panel.
  2. Search the entity for which you want to give permission.
  3. Edit the record containing the entity and command combination for which you want to change permission. If the combination does not exist, you can simply add the record.

Name of the entity. For eg - ms.products, ms.orders, etc.

Name of the command. For eg - add, edit, delete, etc.

Choose the roles from the drop-down to which you want to give permission.
