Seller Subscription

Available in Enterprise Plan and above.

StoreHippo allows you to set up the seller subscription functionality in your store. When the seller subscription is enabled, the person who wants to sell your products on your store buys the subscription for becoming the seller. For any store, the seller subscription is a smart move because it helps the eCommerce market to grow. 

Enabling the seller subscription

To enable the seller subscription in the storefront, follow the steps given below:

STEP1: Create a subscription

First of all, you need to create the subscription. Follow the steps mentioned below, to create a suscription.

  • In the Price field, enter the price of the subscription.

  • Make sure that, you have checked the Publish and Is Subscription checkbox.
  • After entering the details, click the Save button.

STEP2: Displaying the subscription in seller registration form

After you have created the subscription, you need to display it in the seller registration form. To do so, follow the steps given below:

  • Click the Add Field button to add new fields in the form.

  • Provide the Field label as 'Subscription', Field name as 'metafield.subscription', and choose the "Select" option in theType.

  • Then, click the gear icon in the Action column. A form will open up.
  • Select the Required checkbox option to make the subscription field mandatory.

  • Click the Add Option button and 2 field will appear.

  • Provide the subscription name in the Name field and alias in the Value field.
  • Click the Insert Option button.
  • Enter "Choose Your Subscription" in the Placeholder field.
  • After entering the details, click the Save button to save the details.

Now, the subscription will be added and displayed in the seller registration form. Simmilarly, you can add more subscriptions.

How the seller subscribes?

STEP 1: Go to the seller registration page

Go to the to the store site > Seller Registration page and the registration form will open up with the multiple fields.

STEP 2: Enter the login information

  • First Name: This field require the first name of the seller.
  • Last Name: The field reuire the last name of the seller.
  • Email: Provide email for the seller; this email will also serve as the ID of the seller by which he will be able to login to seller admin. This is a mandatory field.
  • Phone: This field require the phone number of the seller.
  • Password: Set a password for the account. It is also a mandatory field.

STEP 3: Enter the personal information

  • Logo: Upload logo for the seller.
  • Title: The title for the seller is to be provided here by which the seller would be visible in the store.
  • Website: The URL for seller website is to be provided here.
  • Subscription: Select the subscription.
  • Name: Provide the name for the seller website.
  • Legal Name: Fill in the legally registered name of the seller. 
  • Info: In this field, enter theany extra information about the seller.

STEP 4: Enter the contact details

  • Fill in full Address with City, State, Country, Zip Code.
  • Address Proof: Upload the address proof.

STEP 5: Enter the bank details

  • Pan Proof: Upload the PAN card of the seller.
  • Cancelled cheque: Upload the cancelled cheque of the seller.
  • Account Holder: The account holder name has to be provided here.
  • Account Number: The seller account number has to be provided here.
  • Bank Details: Enter the bank name, address, branch, and IFSC.

STEP 5: Submit the details

After entering all the required details, click the Submit button to proceed further.

STEP 6: Make payment

Now, click the Pay button to proceed with the payment. After the payment is done, the seller will be subscribed.
