Setting up domain

If you have purchased the domain from a third party registrar, you will have to point your domain to StoreHippo to make your store live. The process to point your domain to StoreHippo might vary across different providers.

General Instructions

Generally, there are two steps to point your domain to StoreHippo:

  1. Point the top level domain to StoreHippo Redirect Server at 35.190.95.30 which will automatically redirectnon-wwwdomain to www.
  2. Add CNAME for www.example.com to point to your StoreHippo URL e.g. example.storehippo.com.
StoreHippo Redirect Server will only redirect your non-www domain to www domain. Use CNAME to point your www domain to StoreHippo.

After you have set up the third party domain, you now need to add the domain in StoreHippo admin.
