User approval flow

Many times, you might want to take control of the user registration process. You want to approve or disapprove the users registering on your e-commerce store. StoreHippo provides support for the user approval flow. This functionality allows you to take full control of the user registration process. Once this functionality is set up, you need to approve or reject the user when any new user registers on your store. 

Enabling user approval

By default, user approval is not enabled. However, you can enable user approval flow as per your requirement. To enable the user approval flow the steps are mentioned below:

  • Go to the Settings > User Settings section in the StoreHippo Admin Panel
  • Select the Deactivate After Registration checkbox.
  • Click the Save & Continue button to apply the changes.

Now, after registration, the user will be automatically deactivated and the admin will require to approve or reject the user. 

Approving the user

When any user registers on the store, you need to approve the user. To approve or disapprove the user, follow the steps mentioned below:

  • Go to the Users > Users section in your StoreHippo admin panel.
  • Click on the registered user. 
  • Select the Active checkbox.
  • Click the Save button to apply the changes.

Now, the user will be activated and would be able to login to your store.
