Order Tracking

Order management and tracking is an important part of any e-commerce store. StoreHippo provides support for order management not only in the admin panel but in the storefront as well. Your customers can manage their orders in the storefront when they are logged in. The customers can manage their orders in the <Store URL>/account/order section. The customers can review their orders, track orders, cancel orders, initiate returns, and even reorder past orders.

View Orders

A customer can view the order by clicking on the View button. When the customer clicks on the View option, the order details are displayed as shown in the image. 

Track your order

The customer can track the order by clicking the Track your Order option. When the customer clicks on this option, the order tracking is displayed as shown in the image. 

Cancel Order

The customer can cancel the order by clicking on the Cancel Order button. The order can be canceled only before it has been delivered. When the customer clicks on the Cancel Order button, then the reason for cancelation is asked from the customer. After providing the reason, the customer can cancel the order. When the customer cancels the order, the admin is notified about the same. 


The re-order feature is added to help the customers to re-purchase an item without wasting their time. When the customer clicks on the Re-order button, the products containing in the order get added to the cart and the customer is automatically redirected to the cart page. From the cart page, the customer can directly place the order.

Return Order

The option for returning an order is displayed to the customers if you have enabled it in the admin panel. You can enable the return order functionality in the Settings > MISC section in the StoreHippo Admin Panel. Along with that, you need to specify the return order window. The customers can raise returns for the order only within the same number of days after the order being delivered. 

The customers can return their order by clicking on the Return Order button in the Order History section. When the customer clicks on the Return Order button, then the return reason is asked to the customer. StoreHippo supports full and partial returns. So, the customer needs to select whether the return is full or partial. Along with that, The customer needs to select the item's condition. When the customer returns the admin receives the notification about that. The admin can authorize the return, cancel the request, or create a replacement. The order can be returned once the order has been delivered only. Click here to know more about order retuns.
