Sorting products

StoreHippo provides various options for sorting products. You can specify the position at which your products will be displayed in the respective category, sub-category, and collection. The sort order functionality allows you to set the sequence of the product(s). You can manage the sorting of products in the individual category, sub-category, and collection. For example, you can set the products to display in the alphabetical: A-Z sequence in one specific category.

There are 7 ways in which you can perform the sorting of the products:

• Manually
• Alphabetical: A-Z
• Alphabetical: Z-A
• By price: Lowest to highest
• By price: Highest to lowest
• By date: Oldest to newest
• By date: Newest to oldest
• By best seller

Sorting products in a category

You can sort product(s) differently in the different categories. To sort the products in a category, follow the steps mentioned below:

• Go to the Products > Categories section in the StoreHippo Admin Panel.
• Proceed to edit or add the category in which you want to select the sort order of the products.
• Scroll down to the Default Sort Order field.
• Select the sort order from the options available. 
• Click the Save button to apply the changes.

Now, all the products of the category will be sorted as per the selected sorting options. In the same way, you can sort the products in all categories and sub-categories.

Sorting products in a collection

You can sort product(s) differently in the different collections. To sort the products in different collections, follow the steps mentioned below:

• Go to the Products > Collections section in the StoreHippo Admin Panel. 
• Proceed to edit or add the collection in which you want to select the sort order of the products.
• Scroll down to the Default Sort Order field. 
• Select the sort order from the options available. 
• Click the Save button to save the changes. 

Now, all the products of the collections will be sorted as per the selected sorting options. Similarly, you can sort the products of the other collections.
